Tatiana Bolgina

Tatiana earned her BA in Fundamental and Applied Linguistics at National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia, with a thesis about the relation between language lateralization and metrics of white matter pathways in the brain. Currently, she is a second year master student in Cognitive Science at CIMeC (University of Trento) in the Cognitive Neuroscience track. She joined SISSA in October 2018 as part of the UniTN-SISSA program for the internship and the master thesis.

In the lab, Tatiana is involved in the project investigating the processing of mass and count nouns, specifically, whether is it possible to predict the noun’s category by looking at the object it represents. In her work, she uses behavioral and eye-tracking techniques.
